Hello dear backers!

We hope you are all well and are enjoying your 12 Principles flipbooks by now :).

We have finished fulfillment some time ago and you should now all have received your rewards. If you don't have, please first make sure that your survey is filled in and reach out to us at [email protected] if it is. We will check if your shipment has been shipped correctly and why it didn't reach you.

Recently, Raúl García has attended the Annecy International Animation Festival, one of the most important animation festivals worldwide, and we are happy to tell you that the flipbook was a great success among animators, both students and veterans.  Even this special guest had his blast ;)

We are now preparing our next Kickstarter campaign that will launch in about two weeks. Our new creation is another coloring flipbook that is especially suited for the younger audience, but also for everybody who wants to learn some cool FUNKY dance moves. :) 

We would be thrilled to see you back at our new campaign! Here is a preview with more information about FUNKY.  As usual, there are some nice early birds waiting for the first to come, so make sure you subscribe to get notified as soon as the campaign launches. 😊

Oh, and if it was not clear enough, THANK YOU for supporting Flipboku! Getting to our 38th flipbook edition has been a hell of a ride and it has been thanks to all our glorious backers if we made it until here.

Shipping Update!

Hello dear backers!

First of all, we must apologise for the long silence, we know there are still quite a few of you waiting for your flip books and our last update was sent out some time ago.

As we have told you in our last update, there are several issues that came up during the production phase and that we are still dealing with, such as the worldwide paper shortage due to general supplying issues, transportation costs and the political situation in Europe, that makes a significant impact on most paper suppliers and printers. In addition to this, our printing machine has not been registering correctly for some time now, which means that we had to repeat part of the print run, to the point where we were forced to get a new printing machine. This, on the other hand, results in new delays and a significant and unforeseen cost that we have to face.

Shipping status

Most of the packages are sent by now (about 70%) and we are wrapping up the shipping for 90% of the orders this week. The remaining 10% will be shipped next week, basically it's the category of the Hanna-Barbera Cells that are still being framed. If you have not received a shipping notification yet, you are most probably among these missing 30%. Once we announce that all orders have been sent (most probably end of next week) and you have not received any shipping notification, please get in touch with us and we'll send you your tracking number. 

Online Animation Course

In a couple of hours, those of you who have the online course included in their pledges will receive a private update with the link to the six-part course. It's already ready and uploaded, we only have to prepare the update! ;)

Of course we would love to hear some feedback from those of you that have already received your flip books!! Share it with us in the comments or social networks, and if you are really excited, you'd do us a HUUGE favor in writing us a nice review on our website (scroll down and click on write a review). The 12 Principles of Animation will be launched online after all Kickstarter orders have been sent and it would be awesome if by then, we can count on a couple of reviews from you guys :).

We're preparing for shipping!

Hello backers!

Although these last weeks have been challenging again facing unexpected events, we finally have some good news for you. We are in the last stretch of finishing production, and can start shipping next week! There are still some last steps to do such as finishing the slipcases and printing and laminating and folding the DIY cubes that will go into the double slipcase. Meanwhile, we have also worked on the AR videos, that will be mapped to each side of the DIY cubes and should be ready once you receive the flipbooks.  

Also, Raúl's online animation course will be available in a couple of days. We'll send a private update with a link to access the course to all backers that have it included in their pledges.

SHIPPING!

Within 48 hours, we will lock al surveys to start preparing the shipments. If any of you have moved and need to update your shipping address, NOW is the time. Remember you can always access your Backerkit survey through your original survey notification or directly through this link.

Since we will handle all shipments ourselves, there is no additional waiting time to ship to any warehouse first, all packages will be sent to you directly from Spain. We will ship by reward categories, which in our experience is the most effective way, since we can pack all packages of one category with the same content. All of you will receive a shipping notification with your tracking number after your package has shipped. Once we are ready with all shipments, we will let you know, so if you have not received your shipping notification by then, you can still reach out to us (after checking your spam folder please!).

The 12 Principles - Production News!

Hello backers!

How have you been? 

We must apologize for the long silence, these last weeks have been somewhat irregular for us since we had several dropouts of our team due to Covid-19, which has finally got to us. Now we are all recovered and strengthened,  the shutters are up again and the machines are running.

Production and shipping news:

That said, we are about 2 weeks behind with our production schedule, which is not a big concern as we have the whole of February to catch up. The paper has arrived a couple of days ago and our printing team is already on fire and has started with the production of the 12 Principles flip book.  We have 4 whole pallets of paper that we now need to print before it gets into our old Heidelberg die cutting press. Now that we can catch up the pace again, we're confident that we will be able to ship during the month of February, as announced in our campaign. 

Surveys: 

We already have 90% of the surveys filled in and plenty of you have picked add-ons, which is wonderful! The 10% of you who still need to complete your surveys, please do so NOW, as we urgently need to know in which language you would like to receive your 12 Principles flip book.

More News:

While the flip book production is in full swing back home, Jossie and I are preparing for our next wholesale trade show, this time in New York! 😍 We arrived 2 days ago and are running last minute errands before we start setting up our booth tomorrow.  If you happen to be a reseller and plan to attend the NYNow this upcoming weekend (February 6-9), we would be thrilled to meet you at our booth and say hello! Our booth number is 2660.
