What age is appropriate for the flip book collection?
Our flip books are suitable for almost any age, children understand their functioning almost intuitively and usually get excited once they understand how the magic trick works. The minimum age we recommend for a child to use a flip book is 5 years old. Older children can use the flip books as a coloring book and see the characters come to live. Then of course it’s a learning flip book for students and animation enthusiasts of all ages.

Why is it a “magic” flip book?
If you observe the flip book in closer detail, you will notice that the edges are cut in a specific way, so that you can swap between the different sequences. This is the key to the optical illusion that gives our cinemagic flip books their unique feature of showing you six different animations, one after another - you’ll have a blast watching people’s faces when they see the flip book for the first time and try to understand how it works :D. And here’s the secret: it all depends on the position of your thumb. You can switch between the sequences by placing your thumb either in the upper corner, the center or the lower corner of the front edge of the book. As there are 3 sequences on each side of the book, the images are arranged alternately. This means that you will have sequences 1, 2 and 3 on the A-side and 4, 5 and 6 on the B-side of the book, when you turn it around. This works the same for both flip books, resulting in a total of 12 different sequences.

Can I order more than one flip book collection or add some additional copies?
You will have a chance to add all individual flip books and packs to your pledge after the campaign ends, during the survey process. Early Bird pricing is limited to just one per backer, but the regular prices will be the same as in the campaign.

How do you care protecting the environment?
We make sure we choose the materials we use very carefully, make wise decisions about the energy we use, and keep our waste to a minimum. We work with Recyclia, a recycling company that collects our used printing toners and ensures they are properly recycled. They take them to be processed, break them down into raw materials and make them into new products. We work with Fedrigoni paper, which has the highest guaranteed standards of sustainability. They only work with uncoated, environmentally-friendly, chlorine and wood free paper, and adopt technologies designed to consistently reduce the use of water, CO2 emissions and energy to the quantities strictly necessary for the production cycle.

Add-Ons and the Post-Campaign Process
When the campaign is over, you will receive an invite to provide your shipping address. At this time, you will also be able to purchase additional add-ons such as our previous flip books and other items to be revealed. We will be working with BackerKit as a pledge manager.

International Duties and Customs
The shipping price for the rewards does not include duties or taxes. Backers will be responsible for all duties and taxes imposed on the import of their purchases. However, most countries do not impose a customs charge for books, you should check with your country’s borders and customs office website to review VAT.

How much will I pay for shipping and is there a shipment guarantee?
Shipping costs are calculated according to weight and shipping zone, after you have entered your shipping address during checkout in our pledge manager. Approximate shipping fees can be found at the bottom of the campaign. We are always there to help in case a package get’s lost, and try to find a solution if any issue comes up. Please understand that we can not send a free replacement if a wrong address was given to us.

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
